We’re excited to announce the release of FraudClient for WHMCS v1.4.2—our largest addon update since v1.2.7.

This release brings the complete FraudClient workflow directly into the WHMCS administration area. You can screen clients, review matches, submit reports, manage existing reports, and process removal requests without switching between systems.

• New overview dashboard showing connection status, report totals, cached checks, at-risk clients, and pending removal requests.
• Single and batch client screening directly from the WHMCS client list.
• Detailed match information including risk points, report totals, reporting companies, and matched identifiers.
• Full-results access for reviewing matching reports securely on FraudClient.
• Configurable client-check caching for faster results and fewer unnecessary API requests.
• Manual refresh controls when a new FraudClient check is required.
• Guided report submission using authoritative client information already stored in WHMCS.
• Mandatory report review before a report can be submitted.
• Complete report management inside WHMCS with searching, filtering, sorting, pagination, and client associations.
• Safe report deletion with explicit confirmation to help prevent accidental removal.
• Removal-request management with options to approve and delete a report or reject the request and retain it.

Security Improvements

• FraudClient API requests are now completed securely from the WHMCS server.
• API authentication uses the Authorization header.
• Your FraudClient API key is never exposed in templates or sent to the administrator’s browser.
• Added stronger request validation and CSRF protection.
• Report submissions require a final review and confirmation.
• Destructive report and removal-request actions require explicit confirmation.

Installing or Upgrading

1. Upload the addon to /modules/addons/fraudclient/ in your WHMCS installation.
2. Open Configuration → System Settings → Addon Modules.
3. Activate FraudClient, or save the existing addon settings again after upgrading.
4. Confirm your HTTPS API URL, FraudClient API key, cache duration, and administrator-role permissions.

Important: Existing users should save the addon settings again after uploading v1.4.2. This allows WHMCS to detect the new hook file and display FraudClient shortcuts on client-summary pages.
